With a background in Electrical Engineering and over 20 years’ experience in non-profit work, Russ says that “this profession perfectly combines my desire to serve people with skill in design and fabrication.”


Russ entered the field of orthotics and prosthetics in 2009 and did his graduate work at Northwestern University  Fienberg School of Medicine.


His undergraduate degree is in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University.

He loves working with children and his experience includes helping patients with toe walking, flat feet, Cerebral Palsy, chromosomal disorders, stroke, and head trauma,.  With adults he has experience with Plantar Fasciitis, complex foot and ankle conditions, stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, arthritis, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and amputations resulting from trauma and dysvascular conditions resulting from many causes including Diabetes.
